This policy explains how Silambam Arena (Proprietor: Your Full Name) ("we") collects and uses your personal data when you use https://yourdomain.com. It is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. on their secure pages. See Razorpay's privacy policy.
2. Consent
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box at registration. For participants under 18, consent is given by the parent or guardian who registers them. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@yourdomain.com; we will then stop processing your data, except where we must keep it to complete a kit already in transit or to meet legal and tax record obligations.
3. Who we share it with
- Judges: the video link, participant's name, category and event, so they can score the entry.
- Courier partners (e.g. Delhivery, Shiprocket, India Post): name, phone and address, only to deliver your kit.
- Medal and T-shirt vendors: the name to be engraved and T-shirt size, never your contact details.
- Razorpay: to process payments and refunds.
- Email/WhatsApp service providers: to send you transactional messages.
- Authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Results (name, category, event, award) may be published on the Website and social media; you may ask for your name to be withheld from public results.
4. Marketing messages
We may email or WhatsApp you about our future championships. Every such message includes a way to opt out, and you can opt out anytime by writing to support@yourdomain.com.
5. Retention
Registration and payment records are kept for 8 years to meet Indian tax and accounting requirements. Video links and uploaded photos are deleted within 12 months of the results date. You may request earlier deletion of data we are not legally required to keep.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal data, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, and to raise a grievance. Email support@yourdomain.com with your reference number. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
The Website uses HTTPS encryption, stores data in a password-protected database, restricts access to authorised staff, and keeps uploaded files outside public view. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will inform you and the authorities as required by law.
8. Cookies
We use only an essential session cookie to keep your registration and entry pages working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children
Participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian, who provides consent for the processing of the child's data, including the performance video.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on the Website.
